Looking for models

Yes, I´m looking for one or two models too work on at a test shoot with a photographer in Landskrona, Sweden. You should have good bonestructor, young, and you could take instructions in front of the camera. We will shoot some Editorial and fashion. Think makeup out of the box and some clean beauty makeup. It would be great if you need new pictures for your agent portfolio but it is not necessary that you have an agent. Almost done with the makeup course of Val Garland

We are in the last episode of the course, it´s called reflection. This has been an amazing journey with lost of opportunities all around the world. Some new doors have been opening and some old has been closed. I have got new friends and peers too collaborate with in the future.

Some has been working in the industry for a long time and have done such an amazing work in the classroom and of course outside the classroom. And I´ve got a lots of eyeopener and AHA moments on this journey. I have learned a lot from Val and got lots of tips for the future too bring with me.

This course got me too stretch my options and too think outside of the box and push me in too believe in my self and my ability too create fabulous work in the future.  I have done some great work in the classroom as well, with fantastic teams. Now I know in what direction I will go further and create an amazing portfolio too succeed. I will send a special Thank you too Rickard @ studio-e for amazing teamwork, collaborate, brain and photoshoots. And I promise you we will do amazing pictures in the future if you join my craziness work brain . 🙂

And I want send a special thank you too my amazing models Julia Andersson, Kajsa Lundgren and my assistant Sandra Thelin for being there on call when I needed you. Hope that you enjoyed the ride. And Sandra do your best @ beauty school this last semester and be an amazing artist graduate next year. And too Julia and Kajsa be the amazing girls and study hard for the next three years.

New Briefs are coming my way

Now I have to choose between Vivienne Westwood and PREEN for the next breif on The Val Garland school of make up. This is a hard choice to do because I would love to do them both. There is no time for that. But I think it will be Vivienne Westwood who let me go out of the box even if she prefer No or little makeup. 😉

Mode fotografering på Dunkers Kulturhus Helsingborg

Ja, idag så var jag iväg på en Mode Plåtning för tidningen www.react.se  som är en gratis tidning och skall etablera sig här i Helsingborg. Vi var ett glatt gäng som möttes upp på Grand Hotell här i Helsingborg klockan 09.00 i morse. Jag satte igång med makeup på modellen Emma ifrån Sweden Models nere i Malmö. Så här kommer en bild på henne som jag tagit med min Iphon 4. [singlepic id=138 w=320 h=240 float=]

Sen bar det iväg ner till Dunkers Kulturhus, och in en utav deras loger. Det var allra första gången jag var nere på Dunkers. Har liksom inte haft något intresse i att besöka huset tidigare. Så här såg det ut i vår loge när Stylisten Isabelle www.studiobellacaramella.com  hade hängt upp kläder och grejer överallt. [singlepic id=145 w=320 h=240 float=]

Jag satte igång och sminkade den manlige modellen Rasmus också ifrån Sweden Models här nere och tyckte nog att det blev ok. Killar ska ju inte vara så mejkade, bara bli lite snyggare 😉  [singlepic id=144 w=320 h=240 float=]   Även denna bilden och igentligen alla här är tagna med min Iphone så kvalitén är väl inte den bästa.

Lägger upp lite fler bilder här som jag tagit och så får ni få tag i tidningen React sen ute på stan för att se slutresultatet av plåtningen. Fotografen Daniel www.dkj.se   gjorde ett fantastiskt jobb och även Marie Wahlter http://www.mwpd.se/  som för dagen var hans assistent. Marie tog även hon lite behinde scens bilder. Stylisten Isabelle skall för övrigt öppna upp en FACE STOCKHOLM´s butik nere på bruksgatan här i Helsingborg. Äntligen!!  Har varit inne på det själv tidigare men som vanligt får man inte tummen ur****  . Men nu är jag i alla fall glad för att någon som Isabelle startar upp. Face Stockholm http://www.facestockholm.com/ har väldigt bra produkter så har ni vägarna förbi där nere Efter April så titta in där. Tror de skall ha öppning i April, är inte säker på vilken datum.

Cover photography

Yesterday I did a cover shoot for the magazine www.halsa.se . There is a woman who works as a coach, gives lectures, etc.. She will adorn the cover of the magazine and they will also have a story about her in the newspaper. You can read some more about the woman at her webbsite.  http://www.ninajansdotter.com/

The magazine comes out later this fall if I understand correctly. Will be interesting and see the final result. The photographer Anders from  www.studio-e  is very good so I expect nothing else.

Back from Singapore

I’m back from Singapore. It has been a great great week down there. Have met wonderful people and seeing how different cultures can live in harmony with each other. I think the city is the one that never sleeps. First night I woke up at three o’clock and went outside the hotel. There were people who drank coffee at starbucks, cars in motion just like in the day. Absolutely wonderful! I was jetlaggad due to the time difference so therefore I was up at that time. Also got a chance to visit Indonesia and could be said that unfortunately it is probably no country I want to visit again. Did things not spoke to my soul like.
Unfortunately not enough time to make any photo session down there because the schedule was packed. But if I get the opportunity to go down again so maybe we should have booked a job on that front before.

I also got the chance to meet Slash when I was down there. They had a concert in Fort Canning Park on 2 August. And just the concert itself made my trip unforgettable. He is probably the best guitarist alive right now. Have never seen a plague their guitars in such a way to produce such wonderful sounds. Need I say it’s music to my ears.
May well also reveal that when Guns N Roses came in the late 80’s so I really liked that band. Their time in the raw style of music appealed to me in a positive way.

Did also see the women down there with the best well-painted eyebrows plucked and I probably only seen in magazines before. I guess I have to practice and re-train to get to so fine eyebrows. 🙂
All shops in the inner city was mostly out of Prada, Gucci, etc. I unfortunately can not afford to shop there, but I would like it. Singapore an expensive country. Their prices are like here in Sweden. And so they earn much less than us here at home. Think there is a little more than four workers on my salary alone. It is ridiculous to me. But one must of course understand why companies choose to put their factories just in low-wage countries. But would add that they may of course also  get what they pay for.

Hoppas ni inte har något emot att jag hoppat lite i min information här. 🙂
